Songs
My debut solo EP, Running Through the Dark, takes its name from a line in track two, Euphoria. Most of these songs are (lightly!) touched by darkness, bringing together many diverse influences including Muse, Queen, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Florence and the Machine and a touch of Evanescence.
The lyrics explore the complexities of relationships - both the light and dark side of the spectrum; from the euphoric highs to the crushing lows and what lies in between, showing how brokenness and imperfection can be beautiful.
The EP was recorded and produced by the talented and versatile Richard Werner of B & B studios, Edinburgh, who also wrote and played all percussion and bass parts. Guitar parts were written and skillfully played by Paul Reynolds.
You can listen to the EP here for the time being, and it will be available on all platforms after its official release (date yet to confirmed). I can't wait for you all to hear it!
